I Heart Faces Photography Challenge: "Innocent Wonder"
This week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces, is called "Innocent Wonder" and this photo came to mind. One day while I was sitting in the living room, my 2 year old daughter, Emerson, comes running in saying "I want that butterfly!", while pointing into the kitchen. I kept telling her that we didn't have a butterfly in the kitchen but she said "yes we do, right there!" So I got up, walked into the kitchen and when I saw this beautiful butterfly just sitting on the screen of our kitchen window I ran an grabbed my camera (naturally!) I was trying to hurry before it flew away so I just ran out and snapped a few pictures. I couldn't see my daughter's face through the window screen from the outside, but when I pulled up the photo on my computer screen, I got the most magical surprise! I am in love with the look on her face even though I know this is far from a technically perfect photo! Visit the "I Heart Faces" website to check out more of the entries!
