Backyard fun!

First time on the boat, they did great!

Bathtub fun! Like the hair?

New bikes! They can't reach the pedals, but they can still get around!

Just chillin'!

First cold front, we broke out the footie pajamas!

At the playground...

Where's Ryan & Emerson?

Getting ready to go to her gymnastics class!

They love to watch Curious George, while holding their Curious George!

Ryan & Emerson at gymnastics class...

They love their books!

Ok, these are too funny not to post - I apologize in advance, Ryan!
He found a tiny hat that he wore while in the NICU, and a pink paci - he ran around like that all morning!

Bailey took the babies for a walk... here she is peeking in on them.

Misc.

Poor little Ryan, he just wants a kiss! Little lovebug!

First taste of a freeze pop...

She says "what the heck is this?"

Ryan takes his first taste...

BRAIN FREEZE!!!

Modeling her Red Sox outfit - is she "street" or what?

Ryan is sad, he thinks he should be wearing a Texas Rangers outfit, but I set him straight!

Horsing around!

Jimmy introduced Ryan to his boat - Ryan did NOT want to get off, he threw a fit! (Just like his daddy when it's time to get off the boat! haha)

Tiny Town

We found a little tiny town that kids could play in! There was a bank (notice them trying to break the combination!), firestation, workshop, post office, train station and more. We didn't stay long because it was so hot, but they had fun.

Updates and lots of pictures!

It's been so long since I have updated, and something very sad has happened since then. My babies have turned into Toddlers!! I mean REAL toddlers! They are definitely not babies any more and I can hardly remember when they were. I watch videos of them from when they were tiny, just to remember. BUT... it is so fun and exciting to watch them learning every single day - it is amazing!

Their vocabulary has really taken off. It's funny to hear them say a new word all of a sudden, when you weren't even trying to teach it to them. Here are some of the words they say:
Mommy (a real MOMMY, not mama! Love it!!) Daddy, Mimi, Papa, cheese, chicken, hot dog, beans, more, cookie, bear (teddy grahams), apple, juice, sip, PLEASE (yes! they say please!!), night night, bye bye, train, duck, ball, car (one of Ryan's favorite!), plane, boat, tractor, shoes, socks, bath, Pee Pee and Tee Tee (yes, they know they have different parts now), purple, blue, green, baseball, and one of Ryan's all time favorites: SISTER! He says it all the time and points to Emerson. If she's crying he'll come over to me and point to her and say it. Also, if I pick him up in his crib first, he will point over to Emerson and say "sister"(so I won't forget "sister")I guess!). Emerson has learned the word "sorry". Now if she is doing something she knows she's not supposed to, all I have to do is give her the look, and she say "sawwy".

They know all the animals and can make the sounds. They don't really say any animal names except cat, dog and cow. They also know any part of the body that we point to. I know I'm leaving so much out, it's just amazing how much they know now!

I started them in a "Tiny Tots" gymnastics class. They have never been in a structured setting with a teacher, so it is interesting. They told me it will probably take about 4 weeks for them to start listening a following her directions. We'll see how it goes!

Father's Day Gift

I found this kit to make stepping stones, so I bought it for the babies to make them for their daddy, for father's day. You will notice we have Emerson's hand print, and Ryan's foot print. We did Emerson's first and she placed her hand in the mix and just grabbed a handful and started flinging her hand around screaming! LOL I guess she didn't like the feel of it, or didn't understand what the heck I was mushing her hand into. We had to do a little reconstruction on the hand print because she grabbed all the way through. So, when it was Ryan's turn, I thought his foot print would be just as cute! When we are out back playing, they love to go over and put their hand and foot on them. They also know the words "moon & star", so they say that every time too!

Random Cuteness!

Daddy and his little monkeys!

What a cute little innocent angel....

But she's already practicing the dirty look that I am sure she will shoot me when she's older!
(I don't have ANY idea where she got that from!)

Mr. Ryan thought it would be a good idea for a banana mask!

Doesn't his skin just look marvelous?

We found little Ryan with his pants down, he didn't seem to see what the big deal was!

Ryan is showing you his new climber!

Ryan is learning how to handle rejection. He tries to hug his sister...

Then he says "ok, then how about a kiss?"

And she says "no, I don't think so, I'm trying to watch my show!"

Trip to the Animal Refuge

We took the kids to an animal refuge. They loved the animals and weren't scared at all! I was only scared of the hornet that decided to take the tram ride with us! Jimmy kept saying "honey, he's not going to bother you!" Well, a few minutes later I hear a loud scream.... that dang hornet stung a little 5 year old boy!! OUCH!! Other than that, we had so much fun watching the babies see these animals up close and personal.

Ok, I know this is gross, and apparently so does Emerson!

Ryan was getting so excited and kept giggling, it was so cute!

A baby Lemur

This little baby had been born THAT day! How sweet!
