Developmental Pediatrics

Today the babies had an appointment with a developmental pediatrician. When babies are born premature, they want you to get the babies checked to make sure they are hitting their developmental milestones. The doctor was very impressed that we have had no problems with the babies since they were released from the NICU. Being born 10 weeks early, their adjusted age right now is only 2 months, 3 weeks. They both are doing extremely well! We received a lot of literature on development, and exercises and activities to help get them to where they should be. We had them weighed too, and Ryan is at 14 lbs, 8 oz and Emerson is 14 lbs, 4 oz. They are growing so fast!! We go back in 4 months for another evaluation.
